I read Atlas Shrugged a couple years ago and War & Peace in high school. I had to avoid lengthy ones to make the 100 goal; time to fix that!

Sarah,
That's great. You'll never regret reading that much!

You've inspired me to write down everything I'm reading so I can have a tally at the end of the year. I don't know that I read 100, but I know I read a lot this past year!!

By the way, I had to chuckle when I saw you write that you want to read Atlas Shrugged and War and Peace. Those were the exact two I thought of when you wrote that you read 100. I thought, I'm going to be really impressed if those are the types on her list!

My next read is _The Witness_. Have you heard of it? Check it out; it's supposed to be phenominal. Written by Whittaker Chambers.

Have a wonderful New Year. I hope to visit in person sometime soon!
Love,
Denise

"Til We Have Faces" changed my life because of how well Lewis understood the different kinds of love (he expounds upon in "The Four Loves"). He has a way of pin-pointing the fallen human condition while exposing it to the light of God's grace from an unexpected angle--usually an angle from which there is no escaping the truth. Granted, I was already a Christian when I read it, but it still hit me sideways; it made me go deeper.

Excellent list! (I love that picture of S.C. Lewis.)
Maybe it's time for me to read the "Space Trilogy"...

Til We Have Faces is an incredible story. If you can, listen to Peter Kreift's lecture on this book before you read it. He provides some very helpful insight!
